Meditation for All
Meditation at Earth Harmony Wellness consists of a guided meditation by Dianne. As an energy clearer/healer, the room is encoded for clearing energy no longer serving and raising of one’s vibration. The setting is relaxing and peaceful with soft lighting and candle light. We will also explore other types of meditation as well, sometimes sitting with the stillness and quiet within and without. We will utilize breath as an initial focal point to relax the busy mind, and an anchor to return to. Mantra and presencing oneself are also frequently incorporated. Either way, it is a practice we choose to bring into our lives, with no destination to arrive at. This time is a way for us to come together in community and enter the space within. We hope that this will be for you, a way to come back to practice, to be encouraged to develop your practice and to share this space with others. All levels welcome, prior experience is never required. Be the peace we wish to see in the world - it begins within.

High schools and colleges across the country are
recognizing and incorporating meditation as part of their curriculum for students. Numerous research supports the benefits of reduced stress and tension, focus and problem solving ability to name just a few. Students are also realizing the benefits they are receiving. Learning to incorporate meditation into their life can have far reaching advantages in grades and overall quality of life and health.
This is instructional, informational and includes a guided meditation. Students are asked to bring a journal. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.

Meditation and Mindfulness with Tammy Traniello
There is a growing need to find inner calm amidst day to day life. Whether you are seeking a spiritual practice, have had or are currently experiencing a traumatic life event or are feeling challenged with everyday life stress, meditation is a practice that is instrumental in allowing one to maintain a healthy perspective through observation and focus. You may have heard about meditation, perhaps you know someone who practices meditation….or maybe you're wondering what meditation is and how you might get started!
The Meditation and Mindfulness workshop is a 3-hour exploration, blending theory and the practice of meditation. In this workshop, you will learn about the ancient practice and benefits of meditation. Through her own studies and life experience, Tammy will guide you through understanding the importance of the breath by exploring with breath-focused exercises, and various meditations to help you personalize a meditation practice. Tammy will share her journey to meditation through her own self-discovery as well as her own self-care practices, sharing various meditation techniques.
Tammy works as a business professional in a corporate setting, giving her firsthand experience at practicing what she advocates. She has studied numerous mind, body, and spirit wellness programs. Through research and life experiences, she has gained an understanding of the severe effects stress can have on our body. This has impassioned Tammy to share her knowledge and experience with others. Mindfulness or consciousness can enhance our lives in countless ways, enabling personal growth as well. The practice of meditation can allow day to day life to become simpler and aid in finding peace.
Tammy has been moved to teach meditation classes to those who are looking to understand the ancient practice, the history of meditation, meditation techniques, the breath, and how to establish a meditation practice. We will explore countless benefits to learning meditation and establishing a regular practice. We are delighted to have Tammy sharing this important teaching with us!
In todays' fast paced world, more than ever before, the majority of us are in a state of depletion. We work hard to survive, or to have more or do more. We are in this constant state of DOING. Meditation is about BEING, just being still with ourselves. It is in this stillness that we find true happiness, true peace, guidance for our best lives possible.
Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years and was used to help deepen understanding of the sacred and mystical forces of life. In current times, meditation is more commonly used for relaxation and stress reduction.
As a type of mind-body complementary medicine, meditation produces a deep state of relaxation and tranquility. During meditation attention is focused to eliminate the thought processes that constantly flood our minds and contributes to stress. Meditation clears away information overload within our mind. Deepening into this process enhances physical and emotional well-being, as well as overall health. Another wonderful benefit of meditation is that the results extend beyond your practice into your daily life. Meditation can lend to a calmer and centered state in our daily lives and can also improve certain medical conditions.
Through a practice of meditation we can gain improved self-awareness, reduce stress and live more in the present moment, releasing fear, worry and other negative emotions that are not serving us. The result is achieving a state of inner peace. Imagine the world if everyone adapted the simple practice of meditation!
